Mairi Duthie - Founder and Chief Executive

After a Law degree at Kings College, during which she studied Criminology and became a member of the Howard League, Mairi moved into Design and Business for the next 20 years following a Masters at the RCA. Mairi founded Handmade Alliance, and the combination of creative training and activity and collaborating with volunteers and other social enterprises gives the opportunity to make the most of both business management and people skills.

Alex Lebus - Ecommerce and Digital Communications

Alex raises awareness of Handmade Alliance’s work particularly using social media and PR. He also runs our ecommerce presence.

Hannah Emery-Wright - Operations Coordinator

After her Masters in International Development Hannah worked in fundraising, communications and administration roles. Hannah has developed a passionate belief in the need to offer prisoners viable rehabilitation options. Her current role involves handling production administration, coordinating our training programmes and prison outreach.
